I also got this adorable strawberry red shoulder bag, with a studded bow. I really love cute little bags like this because it makes me excited for summer. In my eyes it is perfect for sunny days down the beach or out shopping. I couldn’t resist but style the dress and bag together because I chose them for that very reason. I added my over-sized vintage cardie from a charity shop, my lovely versatile frilly Topshop socks and Yes Walker platforms. If that isn’t enough, I topped the look off with a new floral crown. It was sent to me by ‘La Caja Oxidada’ or (the rusty box), and she has an amazing selection of jewelry and accessories. I chose this mixed baby rose head band as it’s perfect for casual day wear, especially in spring/summer. It coincidentally went perfectly with the dress and bag, so on it popped. I am so happy with today’s outfit and very grateful for the items I have been sent. What do you think my lovelies? I hope you have a lovely weekend, see you soon! Today, as I am feeling a bit better my boyfriend and I are going to the cinema! I’m really excited to go out on a date with him as we haven’t been on one in ages! Since third year of university takes up so much of our time it will be nice to get out. I got sent this beautiful skirt from Moddolly and these Yeswalker heels in the post today, so of course I had to style them together. The heels are pretty high but easy to walk in because of the platform, and maybe not perfect for a cinema date, but they are just so cute. I love the 2 tones of brown, making it easy to style sweaters for women, especially with vintage looking outfits. The skirt was a surprise gift from the lovely Amy from Mod Dolly, how nice is that!! It is perfect for me, as I love pink and floral prints. The fit is great and what I love about her clothing is that it is all hand-made and unique. Hope you all have a lovely day, and I’ll let you know how the film goes over on twitter 🙂 Today I ventured out into the sunshine, and to my surprise it was warm enough to wear a light jacket. The sun rays were warm on my skin and as I walked to my local pond/lake I felt a lot happier than I have been in previous weeks. I should have been working at home but a part of me just wanted to go out and play like I used to as a child. I miss that, when calling for your friends in spring after months of cold winter nights indoors. Getting scooters out from the shed again all rusty but ready for another summer. The smell of fresh grass, even if it does effect my sinuses (sniff, sniff). So anyway, I did end up just going on a little walk, mainly to take some photos in the sunshine. It was nice to get out and I ended up just sitting on one of the fishing docks stocking up the fresh spring sunshine. It was nice to clear my mind.today I really fancied wearing my cat print skirt from Vintage Style Me, maybe it’s the weather and the idea of little kittens!! I don’t know, haha. I have been wearing a lot of ‘comfy’ outfits lately where I have been poorly, and it is hard to keep motivated when having to wear leggings, tights and loose fitting clothes. nonetheless I carried on thinking more along the lines of comfort and wore the skirt with a classic blouse and cardie combo. Nothing better in my eyes. Hope you like it.
